1858 Lodge consecrated in October by the Provincial Grand Master, Lt.Col.Vernon at the Shire
Hall, Stafford, with 100 brethren present. First Worshipful Master - W.Bro.G.Spilsbury.
Lodge meetings continued at the Grand Junction Hotel Stafford until 1861
1861 Lodge meetings transferred to The Vine Hotel, Stafford.
1872 Lodge meetings transferred to the North Western Hotel, Stafford.
1879 The Earl of Shrewsbury initiated into the Lodge.
1886 First Master of the Lodge - W.Bro. G.Spilsbury - died.
1880 (approximate) Lodge meetings transferred to the Swan Hotel, Stafford.
1888 A new Lodge carpet was purchased for £1/17/6d
1895 Death of the last surviving founder member of the Lodge - W.Bro. H.Woodhouse.
1916 Mr. R.B.Mummery (a 26 year old jeweller) initiated into the Lodge.
1926 A new Lodge carpet was purchased for £30/9/-
1929 Bro.R.B.Mummery installed as W.M.
1930 W.Bros. R.B.Mummery, H.Owen, and W.J.Dean, made a gift to the Lodge of the three Chains
still worn today on the collars of the Principal Officers.
1933 On his death, Bro.C.H.Turkington left a bequest for the specific purpose of forming
a fund devoted to the building of a Masonic Temple in Stafford. The bequest finally came to nearly £12,000,
a sum estimated to be worth approximately £500,000 today.
1947 W.Bro.R.Mummery appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
1951 Earl of Shrewsbury installed as W.M.
1952 The purchase of Gaol Square Chapel, Stafford, for conversion into a Masonic Temple.
1953 April 15th, first Lodge meeting held at the new Masonic Temple.
1957 W.Bro.R.B. Mummery appointed as Deputy Provincial Grand Master.
1958 Lodge Centenary Meeting.
1960 W.Bro.R.B.Mummery appointed Provincial Grand Master.
1963 W.Bro.R.B.Mummery died
1977 Mr. C.B.Denne initiated into the Lodge.
1991 W.Bro.C.B.Denne installed as W.M.
2004 W.Bro.C.B.Denne appointed Provincial Grand Secretary
2007 Bro.R.Elsmore (longest serving member) died aged 91.
2008 W.Bro.C.B.Denne appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
